About Us

Porthallow Beach
About
  • The Porthallow Village Association
We are a coastal village committee on the Lizard peninsula who are responsible for the village hall and the upkeep of the beach. We organise events, beach cleans and more

Porthallow

We are the halfway point of The South West Coastpath

We have a guest house, self-catering places, two cafes, a pub,

an art gallery, a boat garage, residents and

a shingle beach owned, in trust, by the village.

Maintaining the beach costs money every year so, if you're using the beach during the day, please leave a donation either cash or card.

Please note, due to many reasons, we don't allow overnight stays (which includes vans, campervans, caravans, tents). Please respect the wishes of the Porthallow residents. There are many other legal campsites in the area with views and facilities.

Thank you.

Pralla Plants & Wildlife

Due to the climate we can grow most types of plants which tend to fruit and flower around a month earlier than other parts of the country. Here is a selection to brighten up the page. Photos by Jan Warfield and Alicia Strickland
